Two weeks before the onset of the COVID pandemic, our organization, known as The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES), embarked on a journey into the uncertain. Like true entrepreneurs, we faced a challenging period with our store, which was initially sparsely stocked due to the prevailing uncertainty about the world’s future – a moment we can now look back on with a chuckle. Fast forward to today, our store has transformed into a vibrant, welcoming, and engaging space, offering a diverse range of high-quality gift items that cater to customers with varying budget preferences.

The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies offers a range of premium product lines, including ROOT Candles, Sugarboo, Vance Kitira, Kitras Art Glass, and more. Additionally, CES proudly features items crafted by local young entrepreneurs who are actively developing their products and services. The store is managed by local youth under the guidance of a former business education instructor, providing these young individuals with a comprehensive, hands-on business education experience that encompasses all aspects of entrepreneurship.

The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is not just known for its charming exhibits; it also boasts the presence of Rafael, an eight-year-old Red Earred Slider turtle affectionately known as Raf. Raf has garnered a devoted fan base, with supporters even as far as Colorado who regularly send him treats. This handsome and unique turtle is well aware of his special status and carries himself with undeniable charisma.
